Who Are We?

We are a registered nonprofit agency dedicated to the service of victims of doestic violence and sexual assault which has been serving Fremont County for over 30 years. Our goal is to provide compassionate and supportive services to our clients, helping them to move forward violence free.

SERVICES

Crisis Intervention and Emergency Services

  • 24-hour local hotline

  • Emergency transportation

  • Safety planning

  • Hospital Response for:

    • Sexual assault exam information, support, resources and clothing

    • Domestic Violence assault support and resources

        ~An advocate will respond to any request for services at the hospital, even if the victim is not going to report the assault or does not want an exam~

  • Emergency shelter

  • Advocacy for victims/survivors  between agencies

Financial Empowerment and Assistance

All Financial Assistance is given on case-by-case basis depending on

available resources and  situational variables:

  • Gift cards  and Gas cards

  • Minor Vehicle Repair/Maintenance

  • Rent and utility assistance

  • Basic budgeting and financial literacy

  • Lock changes and new keys

  • Document replacement fees (i.e. driver’s license, birth certificate, social security card)

  • Vehicle repair

  • Bus tickets and transportation to nearest bus stop

  • Cell phones and/or minutes

Follow Up Support Services

  • Assistance with filling out, filing and accompaniment to court for:

    • Domestic Violence Protection Orders

    • Stalking Protection Orders

    • Sexual Assault Protection Orders

    • Tribal Court Restraining Orders

  • Assistance with filing victim compensation

  • Budgeting/financial education

  • Providing referral services to other agencies

  • Support Groups Weekly

  • Clothing and household items

Education and Primary Prevention

  • Presentations to groups/students/organizations

  • Awareness Events 

    • Domestic Violence Awareness Month​

    • Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

    • Sexual Assault Awareness Month
